EES – “INSIDER” (NR.4)

Yes-Jaaa! dear ghazzies,

It's been a while since the last EES insider, but for that you get a blast today, I promise!

Dear EES has been back in Germany for a short time and was previously in Namibia for 4 weeks. We always get fragments delivered via facebook and can only guess what he's been doing there for so long. I feel no different. From one day to the next, EES is in Namibia for weeks and then he is back and continues with his daily business here in Germany and you get the next few weeks on EES TV to see what he was shooting there.

But dear Ghazzies, this time I didn't want to let him get away with it and asked “EES, what have you been doing in Namibia for so long?” You shouldn't forget that he is very well known in Namibia and we here in Germany would like to know what the star life is like 🙂. What he then told me was really awesome.

The real reason for his trip to Namibia was an invitation from the German embassy in Namibia to present his new music video “Never Over” feat. Ongoro Nomundu to shoot with the production company Global Experience and “Film AG” (a non-profit association of filmmakers from Münster).

This video should then be shown at the event series “German Weeks 2015 in Namibia” to celebrate the 25th anniversary of Namibia's independence. This should not be opened by anyone other than ex Federal President Horst Köhler, who should also officially represent Germany. This “German Weeks 2015 in Namibia”, which runs from March to July, celebrates three events: 25 years of Namibia's independence, 25 years of German unity and 25 years of diplomatic relations between the two countries.

The video shoot took about two weeks, but I'll tell you a little bit about that on release day, because there is something special to report there too.

So the former Federal President came to the Goethe Center in Windhoek to open the event and who do you think was late in the Namflava Style? Right! The EES with colorful clothes and hat came in when Mr. Köhler was already in the middle of his speech. EES then quickly sat down in a place from which he could observe everyone well. Then the time had come and the video was played. Instead of watching the video, EES looked people in the faces to see their reactions. He thought he had seen that our dear ex Federal President had chewed off one or two tears, which could also be due to the heat 🙂.

After the video, Mr. Köhler jumped up immediately, grabbed the microphone and said “Where is EES?”. EES went to him and Horst thanked him very much and even said that he wanted the video to send to Ms. Merkel and other people. At that moment all the photographers and EES came and the ex-Federal President stood in a thunderstorm of flashlights. And what does EES do, even though there were a bunch of bodyguards standing around him? Put your arm around Mr. Köhler and make the Namflava hand signal. And it was exactly this photo that was printed in the newspapers.
