EES INSIDER - The fur of the new shoes

Yeeaahhh the new Vellies from EES are here. We all know them from the Hunter who really ALWAYS dragged them. Now you see EES with it more and more often and it is not surprising that you can now also buy it in the EES shop.

When the Videodays were in Cologne, I was even allowed to touch them.

Hmmm but wait, it feels like real fur. Is that real fur? That is not possible. EES what's going on? I asked and got answers.

“Africa is getting fuller! This means that there are fewer and fewer lions and fewer and fewer leopards and thus fewer and fewer natural enemies for zebras, antelopes and kudu. They multiply more and more and destroy the vegetation. And so, as here in Germany, the hunters in Africa also ensure a balance. There is a quota how many animals have to be hunted per year. And it is precisely from these animals that the fur comes from. This means that no animals were bred on fur farms so that the fur could get on EES ’shoes. Fur is also not a by-product of factory farming, as is the case with leather from Germany. The shoe itself is not a mass product either, but is made by hand by professionals ”

These answers did not allow any further questions and I am pleased that this shoe is now available in Germany.
