INSIDER "Mein Bakkie"

No release of a new song without a few insiders for YOU!

Of course you have all noticed that EES has released a new song. Many will have asked themselves: "Who is this Troepie?" Of course, we took on this question and were able to find out a lot.

Especially the ghazzies, who have been at the Nam Flava Fever for a long time, will have a familiar face, as he was one of the mates who stayed in the infamous Chilla Villa.

Troepie also lived in Germany for a long time and did a helicopter training (which is not available). That could also explain the helicopter in the video. Now Troepie lives in Namibia again in Hunta Style and just does things that farmers do.

He visited very often EES in his Chilla Villa and was there almost every other weekend. If you listen to the song you will notice the line "chilling with EES and his' team for years, but me and my Bakkie are the Namibian Dream".

How did the video come about? If you look at the Troepie like that, you wouldn't think that he was really a big fan of a hip hop song. That song was from YG and was called "my nigga".

Troepie heard this song everywhere, no matter where it was. Since that's not a farmer style at all, he of course had the laughs on his side.

As is sometimes the case when the oukies are sitting together, the idea was born to make a parody of this song and of course it would not be possible without Troepie.

About 5 years ago the chorus was written and lay in the drawer for so long, waiting for Troepie's text.

Now at this strange and unfortunately also negative time, EES has found the song again. So EES finished the lyrics, recorded the song and went to Namibia to record the verse of Troepie. That didn't happen in the studio, however, but in a storage room where all the chicken stuff was stored.

The video and the song are about a bakkie. This is basically a pickup truck and all men and especially the farmers MUST have a bakkie. Yeah, that seems like some man thing :). So it has a little to do with lifestyle and culture.

EES wanted to combine two worlds in the video. The hippster teaches the farmer a little bit of hip hop and styles him with a sprayed gangster chain and the farmer shows the town boy his farm and his animals.

But mostly it was about having fun and this song and video have tons of them.

If you have a bit of trouble understanding everything, you should definitely get dikschenärie.

But talked enough about the video, check it out for yourself.

The YouTube video is already being streamed properly and we as the Nam Flava Family can of course push a little.

We are always looking for new members. If you want to be part of the NAM Flava Family, visit us in our Facebook group, where all activities are planned. We really only want active members and therefore it is important to us that when you make a request please write why you should be part of our team. If that is missing or there are only three loveless words, unfortunately we cannot let you in. But when you are inside, you can expect many advantages, such as live streams with EES.
